Kakadu plum is known to be the most concentrated form of Vitamin C on earth. This superfruit found only in the remote bush of the northwest territory of Australia has been used by the local Aboriginal tribes for thousands of years. A rich source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties it supports redness and protection from harsh environmental damage like UV and pollution aggressors.
Kakadu Plum boasts additional lesser-known antioxidants like Gallic acid, good for restoring the skin’s natural barrier while defending against skin bacteria, and Ellagic acid that helps restore elasticity to skin, and helps to form an amino acid, Proline, that aids collagen production.
