The super soft pure goat’s hair bristle is perfect for cleansing the pores while providing a soothing facial massage. The result is healthier skin and a radiant glow.
Hydrea London olive wood facial brush can be wet with your favourite cleansing product, or dry by brushing the face in small circular movements. This brush is an ideal introduction to dry facial brushing as the natural bristles are super soft and gentle.

Use wet as a cleansing brush with your favourite natural cleanser.
Use as a dry facial brush:
- Use on clean, dry skin
- Begin at your neckline, brush towards the collar bone
- Brush down from the neck in long smooth strokes
- Use upwards flicking motions on the jawline
- Use upwards and outwards strokes on the chin and cheeks
- Brush upward from each side of the nose
- Gently brush around the outer eye area in circular motions
- Use short upward strokes on the brow area
- On the forehead brush outwards from the centre
Precautions:
- Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Never Skin Brush over-active inflammation e.g. open wounds, inflamed sores, varicose veins, sunburnt skin.
- Dry brushing does exfoliate skin, therefore regular washing of brush is essential to remove dead skin from the bristles.
- A slight reddening of the skin (erythema) is normal, it is the blood circulation responding to the skin brushing.
Brush Care:
Many dead skin cells are sloughed off during dry brushing and build up in the brush bristles, so it’s important to clean the brush regularly. After each use, tap the brush to remove dead skin debris.
If used wet for cleansing, drain excess water after use and dry thoroughly away from moisture.
Hand wash the bristles occasionally in warm soapy water, shampoo is ideal for this. Rinse well, shake out excess and air dry with the bristles facing down on a dry surface. Allow the brush bristles to dry completely before using again. Store in a dry, well ventilated area away from moisture and humidity.
