Sometimes the use of plastic can be inevitable. In efforts to be as kind to our planet as we can, LASHFOOD has partnered with CLEANHUB. This organization matches the LASHFOOD plastic creation with a dedication to remove an equivalent amount of waste to offset the plastic footprint to net-zero. Thanks to LASHFOOD x CLEANHUB 2 Tonne of ocean-bound plastic, the equivalent to 152,752 plastic bottles has been recovered from the environment since 2020.
Recyclability: Less Waste
LASHFOOD packaging is constructed with Eco-Cert compliant recyclable materials. This means:
- 70% of LashFood fibers come from renewable or recyclable materials and they use manufacturing processes that respects our environment and the health of its consumers.
- 75% of LashFood products are produced and assembled locally to reduce carbon footprint caused by overseas transportation.
- 100% of LashFood boxes are made from FSC-certified and Rainforest Alliance-certified paper and printed with soy ink.
- LashFood shipper materials are purchased from NoIssue, a sustainable packaging company that is part of the Eco-Packaging Alliance.
Protecting Ecosystems: Supply Chain Sustainability
The basic obligation behind LASHFOOD is to ensure an environmentally friendly cosmetic product. LASHFOOD go above and beyond the label of natural or organic by manufacturing their products to the EcoCert and current Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined by the FDA. All ingredients are sourced through sustainably harvested vegan farms and have been evaluated for environmental impact against the supply chain process through ECOCERT.
