On a recent InstaLive with Claire from Les Huilettes we were all introduced to the ancient practice of facial yoga.  I have always been a devotee of facial massage to ward off the Botox needle and support a positive attitude as I embrace the graceful ageing journey. So when Claire suggested we chat about the art of Facial Yoga or facial massage, I jumped at the chance to hear and learn more.

As it has turned out, I’m addicted to Claire’s simple but very effective routine! After only three short months of practicing the Les Huilettes 3 Step Facial Yoga guide I can see the improvements in my skin and the contours of my cheeks and jawline.

What is Facial Yoga exactly?

Facial yoga is essentially a form of exercise for your face. The Les Huilettes guide implores massage to stimulate the muscles, the skin and the lymphatic system. Getting Started with your Facial Yoga

Plus a good double cleanse compliments the positive benefits of the facial massage you are about to perform.

Start with Les Huilettes Mon Huilette Cleanse, this decadent cleansing oil effortlessly lifts the impurities of the day and the aromatic benefits transport the mind to calm and mediative place. Follow your oil cleanse with Les huiltettes Extra-Gentle Soap. I love this soap! It’s super easy and leaves the skin squeaky clean but still nourished and balanced.

For the massage I use the mon huilette sensitive oil. I like an oil as it gives great slip so as not to drag the skin with the massage motions. This formula is not exclusive to those with sensitive skin. I use it as it helps keep my redness at bay and I like the absorbency. I also love the smell and now associate it with a really happy and calm ritual that prepares me for a restful night.

I often combine mon huilette sensitive with the mon huilettes cream emulsion which I apply after I have finished my facial yoga. I wake with super calm and plump looking skin.
