Using a kabuki brush to apply loose or pressed powder is a great way to achieve a flawless, natural-looking matte finish. Just be sure to use a light touch and blend well to avoid a cakey or heavy look.

Here are the steps to use a kabuki brush to apply loose powder: Start by tapping a small amount of loose powder into the lid of the container.

1. Swirl the kabuki brush into the powder until the bristles are evenly coated.
2. Tap the brush lightly against the side of the container to remove any excess powder.
3. Apply the powder to your face in a circular motion, starting from the centre of the forehead and working your way outwards down the side of the temple and repeating from the centre of the face outwards over the cheeks, nose and chin.
4. Use gentle, sweeping motions to blend the powder into your skin.
5. Pay extra attention to areas that tend to get oily, such as your T-zone, and make sure to blend well.
6. Continue to apply the powder until you have achieved your desired level of coverage.

Once you are finished, use a clean, dry towel or tissue to remove any excess powder from your brush.
