Key Natural Ingredients:

If you are experiencing pilling it may be that you are applying too much Kaito in one go? Kaito doesn’t have the same sweet smell as the All-over-colour due to differing formulations. I’m a big M7 fan and own many of the products.
Unfortunately, this is not a nice product.
I own about 8 of the all over colour pots, 6 of the eye colours, the foundation and the strobelighter in sunrise. So I have a fair idea of how the products feel, apply and wear.
This product, Kaito, on paper, looked like the exact product I wanted; a sheer base, light sheen/shimmer. I have found that I dislike products with too much white base and prefer a sheer base on all of my cheek products to achieve a more natural glowy look. So by description, Kaito looked perfect.
Kaito is almost liquidy in the pot, on application it feels gritty and greasy. Using my fingers to warm and apply the product directly to my cheeks, I have found it has little white balls, which then need to be picked off my face. It has a nice gold leaning sheen, I would prefer something more neutral (so, not silver and not yellow leaning), but overall the colour on my neutral to slightly yellow leaning skin looks ok.
It just feels unpleasant, both the application and the end look.
I should also mention I have used the M7 Cristallo (all over shine) clear product on my face and lips for some time and absolutely love it. Cristallo has a more balmy consistency than Kaito and doesn’t ball up on application, so I’m assuming its an ingredient issue in Kaito.
I’m disappointed in this product. For the price I was expecting the same beautiful emolliency of all the other M7 products I own.
I also find this product smells a bit off. I wouldnt go so far as to say rancid, but it does smell a bit off to me. Again, I use and own a lot of M7 products so Im unsure if I just got a bad pot of Kaito or if it turned in transit to me.
Overall a poor quality product from a brand I normally love.
