VENN believe that a complicated skincare routine is unnecessary, in fact, more is not necessarily better in skincare. Brian Oh, a corporate attorney in New York City and Silicon Valley, and Kevin Mun, a nuclear engineer turned chemist, looked to challenge the status quo in the skincare industry by offering efficient, streamlined skincare that replace unnecessary steps and complications in traditional skincare routines.

The result is VENN. Built on over 20 years of skincare research and innovation by VENN’s co-founder and the skincare industry’s foremost chemist in South Korea, VENN is rooted in science, activated by nature and tailored to modern lifestyles. Through its proprietary R&D center, guided by Scientific Advisory Board, VENN actively researches and develops new, innovative skincare ingredients and formulas to pioneer a more effective, efficient and safe approach to skincare.

VENN has entered into a R&D partnership with Asia Seed, a public company in South Korea that researches and develops functional hybrid vegetables, to research and develop new effective, safe and sustainable ingredients derived from vegetables.

Proprietary Science and Technology

VENN continuously researches and develops ingredients and formulas to pioneer a more effective and efficient approach to skincare. VENN’s proprietary Concentric Technology™ as cornerstone, composed of three patent-pending technologies that reinforce each other to yield age-defying results.

i) Delivery Technology: effectively transfers key ingredients for noticeable results. Concentric layers (like an onion) of hydrophilic and hydrophobic bioactives are created, resembling the skin’s hydrophilic and hydrophobic layers for effective delivery.

ii) Solubilization Technology: many natural actives have very poor solubility, meaning the skin cannot readily absorb them. VENN’s solubilization technology is able to water-dissolve key natural actives so that the skin can absorb them, allowing the use of natural actives in much higher concentrations than other brands.  Compound K, a key anti-aging active in Panax ginseng, has a strong antioxidant (i.e., free-radical fighting) power, Studies have shown that it helps promote collagen synthesis and fight comprehensive signs of aging, including dryness, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and loss of elasticity and firmness. It is also a powerful alternative to Vitamin C, but without stability issues. Only VENN holds the patent to water-dissolve Compound K in high concentrations that can compete against (and effectively replace) pure vitamin C, for use in skincare formulations.

iii) VENN’s hydration technology provides hydration both on the skin surface and internally, ensuring that the skin remains hydrated for up to 24 hours.
