Flora Mirabilis FACE OIL ingredients contain some of the most powerful skin-enhancing compounds found in nature. Each ingredient is sourced from the region that produces the finest variety and each species used is the one most beneficial for skin care.
Created in small batches and assembled entirely by hand from the highest quality skin care ingredients and packaging materials. All are eco-friendly and sustainably sourced. Ingredients are mixed with ultra-precision by weight and measured to the hundredth gram to guarantee batch consistency.
Artisanal Process:
- The essential oils -Sandalwood, Frankincense, Lavender, Rose, & Oud- are dispensed and gently swirled to an even blend.
- The infusion ingredients – Vanilla & Saffron- are measured out and placed into the glass beaker.
- One by one, the carrier oils -Sacha Inchi, Apricot Kernel, & Pomegranate Seed -are hand-poured.
- The ingredients are stirred together, then transferred to an airtight glass vessel.
- The blend rests for 30 days at room temperature to synergize.
- The blend is cold pressed to filter the infused oil.
- The bottles are filled by weight to each contains exactly 30ml of oil.
- Orifice reducers are inserted, and hand-finished wood caps are set in place.
- The bottles are packaged into wood boxes with instructions for use.
- After a final quality inspection, the boxes are stamped with classic red wax seals.
- Batch numbers are written on the labels. The finished products are sealed in protective wrap.
Founder Bio:
Jordan LaFragola was born and raised in New Jersey; curious and earthy she was drawn to nature from a young age. In her teenage years, she fell in love with ancient civilizations and became obsessed with beauty rituals, and eventually, she earned a degree in aesthetics from an advanced cosmetics school. Forging a career in exclusive boutique spas, it was her move to the West Coast that ignited a passion for health and wellbeing. This new perspective on health gave her a new perspective on skin care— she began to make her own all-natural products using skin-healthy ingredients and adopted a holistic approach to treating her clients
In 2013, Jordan transitioned to the ultra-high-end spa world, where she began using her formulations on her clientele of celebrities and jet setters. After three years of extensive testing and feedback, she developed a facial moisturizer that had achieved cult status amongst clients and friends. In 2016, she founded Flora Mirabilis to launch the product— aptly named FACE OIL.
Currently, Jordan lives in Los Angeles, where she runs the Flora Mirabilis studio and provides facial services and skincare consulting to her private clientele
Christopher Cuseo grew up surfing the beaches in Santa Cruz. An artistic free spirit he started graphic design at age 16. When he turned 18, he moved to Los Angeles. After graduating from UCLA with a bachelor’s in design in 2003 Christopher began to professionally sell his art. He spent years honing his artistic vision to produce the colourful, allegorical imagery for which he is recognised.
Christopher also has extensive experience in the entertainment industry as a creative director and graphic artist on films and music videos. In 2017 he joined long-term partner Jordan LaFragola as co-owner of Flora Mirabilis; unofficially, he had been a part of the company since its inception– designing the graphics, directing the visuals, and sculpting the form of the FACE OIL bottle.
Christopher lives in Los Angeles, where he art directs and produces visual content for Flora Mirabilis, paints, and continues his work in the film industry.
