The NATIVES Co Team is taking all necessary and precautionary measures to ensure our staff, you and the community are safe during this difficult and unprecedented time.

There are shipping delays across all courier networks. We have updated our shipping policy to make online shopping easier.

COVID Delivery Delays

Our courier partners are in overdrive to meet demand and are doing all they can to ensure delivery in the shortest possible time, but please be patient and allow a little extra time if ordering to a deadline.

Domestic: Due to current increases in demand delivery time frames may be longer than usual. At this time Australia post are not able to guarantee next day delivery on Express post.

International: Due to global travel restrictions and scarcity of international flights, lengthy delays on international delivery may be experienced. It is advisable to allow an additional 10-14 days on top of standard shipping times to all international destinations, however to some countries delays of up to 6 weeks may be possible. Flights and delivery delays are constantly changing, if you would like an up-to-date indication of delivery times please contact us at [email protected] prior to placing your order and we will follow-up with our courier partners.

The NATIVES Co. has no influence over how courier partners operator and can not guarantee delivery timeframes. We appreciate your understanding on this.

How is The NATIVES Co. helping to slow the spread of COIVD?

According to The World Health Organisation (WHO), the likelihood of an infected person contaminating goods is low, as is the risk of catching COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperatures. However, we continue to take all necessary measure to minimise risk including contactless delivery and product handling hygiene. 

We have complete control of our stock and the staff that is handling your order:

We are a small team and we too are social distancing, isolating and staying at home and safe whenever required under Government guidelines. Your order is packed by staff who are healthy and well and who are practising strict hand hygiene. Our stock and packing areas are being kept clean and sanitised, with any new deliveries “quarantined” before being sanitised and added to our inventory.

Returns standards:

Our standard hygiene precautions apply to any online returns. Items which have been opened, used or safety seals broken/ tampered with are not eligible for a return. And while we wish to offer you peace of mind in your purchase, our returns policy is in place to ensure the safety of all. If you are unsure about a purchase please feel free to contact us with questions or book an online consult, there is no obligation to purchase.

Our Delivery Partners:

Our delivery partners Sendle and Australia Post are offering contact free delivery and we are confident they too are taking all measures to reduce any possible avenues of transmission within their delivery chain. This may mean your parcel takes a bit longer than usual to be delivered and signature on delivery is not available. Please make certain you leave us a note on a secure place to leave your item so we can advise our couriers, especially if you don’t think you will be home to take delivery.

Packaging and Receiving your Order: Reducing Exposure on Surfaces:

recent study suggests that the virus that causes COVID-19 can live in aerosols and on various surfaces for anywhere from 3 hours to 3 days.

Here is how long it is thought COVID-19 can live by environment:

  • In the air (aerosolized form) – up to 3 hours
  • On cardboard (or other porous surfaces) – up to 24 hours
  • On plastic or stainless steel (or other hard, shiny surfaces) – up to 72 hours or more

All NATIVES Co. deliveries will now come with a easily removable outer packaging. A porous compostable postage satchel (these are not plastic, they are made from cornstarch) or recyclable Kraft paper can be easily removed with minimal effort and immediately disposed of followed by washing your hands. Our beautifully branded NATIVES Co. box is protected during transport and is clean for you to safely take inside and enjoy.

If you are still concerned, leaving a box outside in a safe location for a day could do some good to avoid infection.
