LUXE Sustainability

Luxe ingredients are sustainably sourced from their native lands, either organically grown or wild-harvested the focus is on fair-trade and supporting the local communities.

Luxe Marula oil is extracted from the kernel of the Marula tree which is wild-harvested and processed by the local Maasai women in Kenya. Intrepid women in their own right, the tribe walks into the wild stands of Kenya to pick the fruit, dry it and cold press the nut for the oil. This labour intensive ritual provides these women with an independent source of income, which has led to upliftment of their families and resulted in wider community benefits.

Luxe uses USDA certified organic Camu Camu from the fertile soils of the Brazilian amazon where it is organically grown and hand-picked by local farmhands in Brazil.

Certified organic kigelia Africana, chosen by Luxe is organically grown and hand-picked by the local community in Malawi to protect and preserve the biodiversity of the region. This Kigelia africana extract is Certified Organic by the Soil Association (UK).
